LCL
has been a well-known name in the world of
languages for about 30 years, starting business
in the 1970's, specialising in EFL, ESOL and
Foreign Languages only. We started life in
Camden Town, London NW1, moving to our present
premises in Judd Street, London WC1 in 1989,
where we are very centrally based, with easy
access to Kings Cross Station, Euston Station
and Russell Square Station, together with
good bus connections and easy meter parking
around the shop plus 2 car parks in very close
proximity.

Our
opening hours are 9.30 - 5.30 from Monday to Friday
and 9.30 - 2.00 on Saturdays. Saturdays can be a
good time to come and browse our extensive selection
of stock, as it is usually quieter than during the
week, plus if you are coming by car it is easier
to find a parking meter.

Our
core staff have an in-depth knowledge of our stock
built up from their many years of experience, and
are all very pleased to share their knowledge with
customers, patiently helping them to make sure they
are choosing the correct book. We have a very large
customer base including libraries, educational establishments,
teachers, students and foreign visitors, with many
regular visitors from countries as far as Australia.
Our friendly multi-national staff soon make customers
feel at home, especially when hearing a friendly
greeting in their own language.
